PROYECTO SOCIAL: MANOS VERDES
Este proceso comienza hace de un año, en la localidad de Pavón, Argentina, al gestarse en diferentes áreas, del centro de salud público local, la necesidad de abrirnos a la comunidad un poco más.
En el grupo de autogestión en salud, por un lado, quedábamos solo tres personas estables y ansiábamos expandirnos, así que decidimos ponernos al servicio dando lo que cada una sabia hacer o en lo que tenía conocimiento, así fue como Elsa (docente jubilada), Belen (Lic. En bellas artes) y yo (medica) empezamos a observar donde podríamos ser útiles. Por otro lado Silvina, trabajo social y Virginia, Psicóloga, estaban en la búsqueda, donde poder ensamblar un grupo de mujeres en situación de vulnerabilidad social (violencia física, psicológica, pobreza), y estaba también Alejandra (terapista ocupacional), con su grupo de adolescentes con capacidades diferentes, que estaban realizando una experiencia de primer empleo, pronto a no ser renovado el convenio por recortes de presupuesto, intentando ver como continuar el trabajo con ellos para realmente lograr un efecto beneficioso y que perdure como primera experiencia.
Así fue como en una charla de descanso, solo nos escuchamos, y surgió la idea de unir a estos tres grupos. Y comenzamos con el desafío de llegar a buen puerto con las dos partes: el grupo coordinador y los destinatarios. Ninguna idea original de los tres grupos se mantuvo y tuvimos que desprendernos de métodos y fórmulas que funcionaban de maravilla en nuestras cabezas, soltar las expectativas, negociar y conciliar muchísimo a lo largo del año mientras ya el proyecto estaba en marcha, lo cual fue intenso con momentos de tensión y con otros muchos de satisfacción.
Sin presupuesto y contando con un tiempo y muchas ideas, comenzamos a buscar puntos en común que podría reunirlos. Y nos enteramos que el gobierno provincial destinaba un monto de dinero para el desarrollo de viveros y que pertenecía al área de salud, así fue que presentamos el proyecto y también presentamos el proyecto al presidente comunal del pueblo para asegurarnos que, si no entregaban los recursos económicos provincia, él lo aportaría. Comenzó haciéndolo desde el principio contratando a Gabriela, quien manejaba el tema de vivero y jardinería.
En el transcurso se fueron realizando dos reuniones con este grupo de mujeres donde les presentamos el proyecto, se les explico que no había remuneración económica hasta que estuviera el vivero en funcionamiento, lo cual llevaría aproximadamente un año. Del grupo inicial de 23, quedaron 5. El grupo de adolescentes con capacidades diferentes son 4. Y 2 del grupo de autogestión.
Como ninguno de ellos tenía conocimientos en jardinería se comenzó con capacitaciones.
1ra fase reciclado de materiales: plástico, latas, cemento, botones, piedras, etc, para la elaboración de las macetas. Desde acá los tiempos que habíamos estipulados fueron otros, nos dimos cuenta que la mayoría del grupo de mujeres nunca había tomado un pincel, y que mucho menos tenían noción de colores. Este tramo se extendió tres meses aproximadamente con una reunión semanal de 4 horas.
2da fase vivero: reproducción de plantas por sembrado, esquejes, etc. Otros 3 meses con una clase de 4 horas semanales (se introduce la teoría de los 5 elementos).
Cada cierre mensual, además de realizar una evaluación de cómo se iban adaptando entre ellos, comenzamos a desarrollar técnicas de grupo, ya que en principio la integración fue lenta, notamos la dificultad para contactar con ellos mismo, se realizaron talleres: uno de exaltación de los sentidos; la invitación fue a tomar el té: cerrando los ojos percibiendo el olor, la textura, el sabor, el sonido al tocarlos, tomaban nota sobre que les despertaba cada una de estas experiencias, y también si los transportaba a algún recuerdo. Elegían uno o varios para combinar y realizar su tizana y mientras los degustaban les comentamos las propiedades de cada una de las hierbas elegidas e iniciamos a reforzar el concepto que, si me tomo el tiempo de observar y escuchar a mi cuerpo, voy a recordar, a reconocer lo que es bueno para mí, lo que me hace bien.
El otro taller fue de reconocimiento de las emociones básicas. Otro de respiración consiente, y otro para repartir las tareas de acuerdo a las habilidades adquiridas.
Se comenzó con pequeñas muestras para observar funcionamiento y destrezas del grupo, sin ventas. Y luego con ventas.
¿Por qué un vivero?
- Porque en un grupo tan heterogéneo los puntos en común eran: inserción laboral y pobreza. Tuvimos que reconocer que, las prioridades en la mayoría de ellos no estaban puestas en su crecimiento personal.
- Porque en términos económicos, es accesible, con montos requeridos escasos y no demanda de personal especializado continuamente; una vez formados los participantes pueden continuar como cooperativa.
- Porque contamos con todo lo necesario para desarrollar el tema de los 5 elementos (con el ejemplo de los requerimientos de una semilla para germinar).
