LAZOS DE AMOR
Tiene una mirada tierna, cuando sonríe se le hacen hoyitos a los lados de las mejillas y el corazón más grande que he conocido en mucho tiempo. En sus 5 años ya ha vivido circunstancias difíciles para cualquiera, entre ellas las que puede generar que las personas no te comprendan por tener dificultades de pronunciación, que aprendas más despacio que tus compañeros o que de repente te cambie tanto la vida y la familia que puedas perder las ganas de sonreír o de jugar.
Es Matías, un pequeño con alma de grande, que me hizo recordar por qué hace 28 años soy Fonoaudióloga, y gracias al cual puedo mirar al pasado con una lente diferente, la que se ha desarrollado los últimos 7 años de mi vida y con la cual he podido dar algunas respuestas a la Marcela que se graduó hace años de la Facultad con más preguntas que certezas.
La terapeuta de antes hubiera hecho un plan muy detallado para diagnosticar y tratar las Dislalias (dificultades de pronunciación) y las dificultades de aprendizaje de Matías, pero la de ahora, además de echar mano de los conocimientos clásicos, se dedicó durante un tiempo a “sentir” y “observar”, a “escuchar“ más allá de los errores visibles y especialmente, a utilizar la mirada amplia para incluir a la familia del niño en el análisis de la situación.
El primer paso fue una sesión corta de “Manos” que de una manera muy rápida empezó a preparar el terreno, en la cual el objetivo principal fue restablecer los puentes, las conexiones entre ambos hemisferios, y entre mamá y papá.
Con el panorama más claro y una vez ganada la confianza del niño, empezamos a “jugar” con los muñequitos, que son los aliados que utilizamos los consteladores familiares para bucear en el inconsciente personal y familiar en busca de respuestas que nos ayuden a descubrir dónde se encuentra el Amor, y en qué parte hay nudos que no permiten que fluya naturalmente.
Y ahí llegaron algunas respuestas que dieron inicio a un proceso terapéutico que me llena de alegría y que hoy quiero compartir, como una forma de agradecer a Matías y a su mamá por permitirme acercarme para aprender junto con ellos una forma de mirar y de reconectar sus lazos de Amor.
La mayoría de los seres humanos aprendemos a hablar de manera espontánea, por imitación, repitiendo patrones vocales de nuestro entorno. Cuando este aprendizaje por alguna razón no se da naturalmente, entramos los terapeutas a analizar una serie de factores como la audición, la fisiología del aparato vocal, el desarrollo de patrones neurológicos que llevan al desarrollo del lenguaje y la cantidad y calidad de la estimulación para que el mismo se dé correctamente.
En el caso de Matías, se fueron descartando una a una las causas de Dislalia, hasta que finalmente llegué a una conclusión: podía pronunciar en algunas ocasiones los fonemas “problema” pero sus patrones incorrectos se habían apoderado de la mayoría de su producción hablada, afectando además su propia capacidad de escucharse y corregir los errores.
¿Qué surgió de la observación desde el punto de vista sistémico? Algunas frases empezaron a darme la pista: ”No puedo ir porque tengo que cuidar a mi mamá”, “Matías quiere pasar tiempo con su tío, porque dice que tiene que aprender a ser fuerte como su papá”, “la abuelita le dice que ahora es el hombre de la casa”…
En la representación construida por Matías a partir de la pregunta “¿quién puede representarte a ti, a tu mamá, tu papá y tu hermana?”, y el aporte espontáneo de él de dos figuras que faltaban para completar la imagen, surgen posibilidades de interpretación que contrastando con la historia y con la conversación que tuvimos, me llevan a una conclusión, a la toma de decisiones respecto a la forma de proceder, y también a algunos resultados para compartir en este proceso que apenas comienza.

Si observamos la imagen, mamá es una heroína que defiende a los hijos, y Matías se siente en la obligación de tomar el lugar de su papá ausente para ayudar a “defender el territorio” de las amenazas de “la bruja” y de otras circunstancias que él percibe como peligros que acechan. Su hiperactividad es la forma sutil que tiene para poder estar en varios lugares (simbólicamente hablando) en dónde siente que es necesario, y a través del diálogo va revelando como cada persona de la familia ocupa probablemente un rol que no le corresponde para poder acomodarse a una situación difícil para todos. Ser hiperactivo no solamente es intentar ocupar varios lugares al mismo tiempo, es querer hacerlo todo rápido (como su habla) y no poder concentrarnos en aprender como niños porque creemos que tenemos que crecer y ser adultos ( acelerando el tiempo ). En realidad eso es intentar construir un edificio sin conocimientos, sin cimientos, olvidando que para aprender a sumar primero debemos conocer los números, y para poder aprender los números necesitamos jugar y divertirnos de manera que nuestro cerebro genere los mecanismos que dicen “quiero más de esto que me hace feliz”.
El Amor está con mamá, cuando Matías quiere protegerla; el Amor está con papá, cuando quiere parecerse al héroe que hay en él; el Amor está con la hermana que a veces lo regaña como una mamá pero con la que quiere jugar y también se siente en la obligación de proteger. El Amor es él, queriendo tener una varita mágica que arregle todo, porque en su corazón quiere que todos sean felices y el mundo vuelva a la normalidad de su mente de 5 años.
Hicimos una dinámica de Constelaciones Familiares, trabajamos unas frases con su inconsciente, unos cuantos ejercicios de percepción auditiva y de vocalización y una consulta con su mamá para mostrarle los descubrimientos, y el resultado que antaño hubiera tomado muchos meses de terapia se puede observar en menos de un mes con sesiones esporádicas. Los nudos comienzan a desatarse, y ya es más fácil volver a ver la sonrisa en el rostro del pequeño, especialmente en ciertas circunstancias que antes producían un gesto casi imperceptible de sufrimiento. Su habla va mejorando poco a poco, él es más consciente de sus errores y ya tiene la capacidad de hablar más despacio con patrones adecuados. El camino apenas comienza, y los retos por delante son varios; lo que sí es seguro, es que con ambos pies sobre la tierra, con las raíces que provienen de ambos padres por igual, nuestro pequeño y maravilloso Matías será capaz de llegar tan lejos como un cohete, con esa increíble energía que tiene impulsando a su corazón.
