El lenguaje corporal tiene un valor de comunicación que supera el de las palabras. Es tan importante la música del lenguaje, representada en la entonación y el ritmo en las secuencias de palabras, como la danza que las acompaña.
En las bellas danzas nupciales de los insectos advertimos ya formas de comunicación armónica que facilitan el apareamiento y la supervivencia.
Cada forma de comunicación humana es también una danza sutil que involucra la actividad eléctrica sincronizada de miles de neuronas y los movimientos inconscientes del cuerpo y de las manos.
Podemos advertir así la indivisible conectividad de los elementos que intervienen en nuestro lengua-je, representada en la integridad de la música de pensamientos, emociones y palabras con la dan- za del cuerpo. Los movimientos interpretan el ritmo y la cadencia de nuestra música interior en un lenguaje corporal que enriquece el valor de comunicación que tienen las palabras. Pensamos, sentimos, hablamos, resonamos y bailamos. Los movimientos y posturas de las manos son representaciones externas de la danza.
La geometría y disposición espacial de los sistemas orgánicos –nuestra propia anatomía– es un ejemplo de cómo la dirección del sentido evolutivo ha ido plasman- do sus huellas en el cuerpo.
El diseño está impreso en nuestra geometría corporal, que pareciera guardar el secreto del progreso evolutivo de la corriente de la vida hasta la vida humana. Podríamos acelerar la aventura evolutiva implícita en los millones de años que han ido liberando las patas y las alas del animal hasta la forma humanizada de las manos, para comprender que estas han representado el ascenso al hombre creador.
El proceso de humanización lleva implícito un progresivo movimiento de verticalización, que ha significado un modo nuevo de afrontar la gravedad, de contemplar el horizonte y de liberar las manos del artista y el amante que todos llevamos adentro. Todos estos movimientos han conducido a la remodelación de nuestros cuerpos, con la consiguiente liberación de las manos y la expansión del cerebro.
La marea evolutiva ha ido ondeando así de la mano de las manos, acompañando esas conquistas externas e internas, que sucesivamente nos condujeron desde las patas y las garras, a través de las manos dotadas para colgarnos, manipular las herramientas y modificar el entorno, hasta esa compleja función que ha convertido las manos en antenas del cerebro y el corazón. Las manos proyectan lo mejor de nuestros pensamientos y sentimientos para dar sentido a la vida en la armonía de una caricia, un poema o una escultura. Las manos constituyen en nosotros los mejores instrumentos del creador.
LAS MANOS MOVIMIENTOS Y POSTURAS COMO CATALIZADORES DE LA EVOLUCIÓN
Tenemos un sistema nervioso que permite planificar y controlar nuestros movimientos. Al mismo tiempo, el perfeccionamiento del movimiento fue favoreciendo un patrón de conectividad y organización interior del cerebro, que con-dujo a la manifestación del pensamiento, como una capacidad especialmente desarrollada en nuestra especie. En la medida en que nos verticalizamos y liberamos progresivamente las manos, fuimos asistiendo a la interiorización del movimiento en el cerebro y el simultáneo perfeccionamiento de los procesos inherentes al pensamiento. Es hoy innegable que las manos han sido catalizadores de este proceso de humanización que nos puede llevar, a niveles cada vez mayores de responsabilidad y de libertad.
Los mudras expresan un gesto o posición corporal. Son como sellos o símbolos que encierran significa- dos completos y complejos. Pueden ser representados por posturas corporales asociadas a una posición determinada de las manos, como se enseña en el Kundhalini Yoga. En la práctica del Hatha Yoga se incluyen numerosas posturas corporales denominadas Asanas.
Los mudras incluyen posturas correlativas de los brazos, las manos, los dedos y los miembros inferiores, y constituyen en conjunto un lenguaje simbólico del cuerpo, una especie de representación exterior de actitudes, pensamientos y sentimientos.
Los diferentes mudras son una expresión plástica de nuestros estados de conciencia, y su práctica puede inducir o reforzar estos estados. Esto lo podemos reconocer fácilmente cuando experimentamos un sentimiento de ira que nos lleva a cerrar los puños, apretar las mandíbulas y tensionar todo nuestro cuerpo.
En Manos hacemos énfasis especial en las posturas manuales, para aprovechar la sistematización y experiencia desarrollada desde la sintergética, reconociendo que el empleo simultáneo de las posturas manuales y corporales refuerza su efecto.
La experiencia en la aplicación de los mudras para armonizar la energía del cuerpo, nos revela la importancia crucial de la actitud. Cuando estas posturas corporales son practicadas de memoria, como una especie de gimnasia mecánica, tienen un efecto mínimo si lo comparamos con el efecto de la postura acompañada de un sentimiento y o un pensamiento. Lo mismo ocurre con el tiempo. Bastan unos instantes del mudra practicado desde la conciencia plena para generar un buen resultado.
