AÑO NUEVO
… Éramos dueños de todo y, de repente, dueños de nada. Caminábamos con un repertorio de anhelos y súbitamente se aproximaron los pesares. Estábamos repletos de ilusiones y un día nos inundó la desesperanza. Compartíamos con todos e inesperadamente encontramos la mesa vacía. Nos desbordaba la confianza y de repente nos invadieron el temor y la incertidumbre. El paisaje reflejaba luces y colores y, de un momento a otro, el panorama se tornó oscuro. Repartíamos sonrisas y tuvimos que descifrar lo que dictaba una mirada a la distancia. Pasamos de las urgencias del día a día a los aplazamientos como testigos inexorables de la fragilidad que habita en nosotros. Buscando ser libres nos encontramos más fronteras que nunca. Pasamos de la prisa y la impaciencia a contemplar el silencio, la lentitud y la calma.
Ahora agoniza el tiempo de un año complejo que develó la necesidad de declinar esquemas para dar el justo valor al instante vivido con intensidad y permitir que en la balanza pudieran más los momentos de dicha y alegría, que los abismos o las derrotas. Aprendimos a solemnizar lo sagrado de la vida para convocar el canto, aunque fuera en soledad. Pasamos de ser hospederos de la avaricia a entregar sin condiciones, tan solo motivados por la compañía, aunque tuviera el sello de lo fugaz. Pudimos reencontrarnos con la fascinación en el arte de dibujar promesas que conecten con los sueños. O con el misterio del nuevo amanecer para dar alas al amor y emprender el vuelo sin el peso de los recuerdos o las añoranzas. O con la posibilidad de acunar sentimientos que permitieran escuchar los gestos desde la pausa. O quizá, con la oportunidad para dejar atrás las etiquetas revestidas de memorias o ambiciones superfluas y así extender las manos generosas para entrelazarnos en una vida libre de ofensas y rencores.
Se quedaron dormidos los días ya recorridos y se asoma el nuevo año para encontrar metáforas que dejen el pincel atado a la alegría y así recorrer la senda mirando hacia dentro al buscar con quien hablar, para encontrar en el eco de lo excelso, el puerto de llegada que renueva y sustituye lo no sustancial.
Que el alma emerja en el nuevo año para reavivar el fuego y cruzarnos en lo apasionante. Que los días se vistan de tenacidad. Que asistamos al milagro eterno del presente. Que el faro ilumine con fuerza para que la fe no tenga límites. Que de nuevo podamos coincidir en el abrazo y que por fin “se cometa” el beso postergado. Que se improvise en nombre de la ternura. Que las puertas se abran al olvido de lo que no sume y que las caricias permanezcan por siempre. Que volvamos a la común-unión con Dios, El Soberano…
